Christmas finds us once again in a complex context for many people. Although time has passed, the social and economic consequences of recent years are still very present for thousands of families, older people, and those who are ill.
For this reason, at Ubicca we have decided to repeat the solidarity initiative we launched a few years ago: the budget that we usually allocate to Christmas gifts for clients and collaborators will once again be transformed into direct support for those who need it most.
Thus, we will allocate this contribution to Cáritas Madrid, the NGO Nadie Solo, and the Spanish Association Against Cancer in A Coruña, collaborating in essential projects.
Thanks to Cáritas, our donation will be directed to its Soup Kitchen and Community Store programs, enabling many people in vulnerable situations to cover such a basic need as food.
Meanwhile, the NGO Nadie Solo will use our contribution to strengthen its volunteer network, which supports older people who live alone, helping to alleviate unwanted loneliness through weekly home visits.
In the case of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, our collaboration supports its research programs and care services for people affected by this disease.
At Ubicca, we believe there is no better gift than sharing and helping. Choosing to support people, care for the elderly, stand by families, and promote research is, for us, the best way to embrace the true spirit of Christmas.
