This project for the BBVA IT headquarters is based on a series of key values and ideas that were developed in a consulting process hand to hand with the company: innovation, openness, transparency, collaboration, agility, positivity and a multifunctional design based on modularity and flexibility.
The process has resulted in the definition of four main functional areas: welcome area, recruiting, inspire & share, work & co-create and network café, each with its own characteristics and needs.
The vehicle to articulate these functional areas are hexagonal geometry cells that are distributed, added, rotated, scaled and partially dematerialized, giving rise to different groupings, constituting the only strategy of compartmentalization, materialization and formalization.
The cells, in their variability, house the coffee, inspire & share or recruiting areas; while the work and co-creation areas, the most extensive of the project, take advantage of the extensive facades of the offices to optimize light.
The distribution and arrangement of workstations is focused on amplifying collaboration and project management, with cores of desks to which more or fewer workstations can be attached depending on the size of the teams.
