The prestigious German automotive group has placed its trust in Ubicca to carry out the revitalization of its headquarters in Madrid and coordinate the relocation of one of its subsidiaries from Las Rozas. In early 2020, as part of its corporate and real estate strategy, the German company made the bold decision to unify all group companies under one roof: its headquarters on Avenida de Burgos in Madrid.
Ubicca was at the forefront of this colossal challenge, taking on two crucial roles. On the one hand, we oversaw the smooth relocation of one of the subsidiaries from Las Rozas. On the other hand, we carried out the complete renovation of the eleven floors that make up the headquarters, covering more than 6,000 square meters of space.
A Transformation for New Work Paradigms
The purpose behind this profound renovation is to adapt the space to the changing needs of users and new ways of working. At Ubicca, we have specialized in this approach, and have worked tirelessly to adapt offices to the current reality, characterized by team collaboration and work flexibility.
By implementing measures such as physical separation, reducing occupant density in common spaces (such as meeting rooms and dining areas) and introducing tools for remote working, we have embraced the principles of modern office models.
Notable improvements at the group’s headquarters include the addition of sleek glass partitions dividing spaces; the renovation of finishes, both vertical and horizontal; the creation of modern technical rooms; the updating of ceilings; the adaptation of fixtures; and the incorporation of contemporary furnishings.
