Ubicca designs the new image of First Workplaces in Barcelona and Madrid

First Workplaces has trusted Ubicca for the creation of its new image, with the creation of several workspaces with strategic locations in Madrid and Barcelona.

Concretely, Ubicca has executed the design and architecture of two coworkings in Barcelona, located in Rambla Catalunya and Sants, and two in Madrid, Torre Europa First, in Castellana, and Plaza Castilla First, in Torre Realia.

At Rambla Catalunya, First has an area of 2,500 square metres spread over six floors, between Rambla Catalunya and Gran Vía. An innovative and modern environment that offers offices, flexible coworking stations, meeting rooms and wings for training and events, in addition to a spectacular terrace overlooking the whole of Barcelona.

In the case of Sants, located next to the AVE train station, in the Tarragona Tower, Sants First will undoubtedly be one of the benchmark work spaces in Barcelona. It has 3000 square metres distributed in coworking open office, offices and corporate offices. The combination of design, location and incredible views make it a safe bet for professionals looking for office.

In Madrid, Torre Europa First is located in one of the most emblematic buildings of the Financial District of the capital. A privileged location in a completely renovated skyscraper, with spectacular views of Madrid.

On the other hand, Plaza de Castilla First is located in the world’s first inclined skyscraper, built by Philip Johnson and awarded the prestigious Pritzker prize. Situated in a strategic communications area in Madrid, with metro, suburban train and bus connections, where leading companies in the economic and financial sectors can be found.

Design Strategy

Through the use of architectural tools, Ubicca has achieved that First Workplaces has a significant image in all its centres, placing them among the first flex-spaces operators in the Spanish panorama as far as services are concerned.

The design strategy is based on the use of common characteristic elements in all its new centres, as well as the implementation of a palette of materials and finishes with which suitable environments are generated for business development.
